The fermentation process is the first step in making button mushroom
compost.
The purpose of the transfer, irrigation, ventilation and addition of
some organic and inorganic raw materials at certain intervals during the Phase
I process is to prepare the compost to be used in button mushroom cultivation
and to create suitable conditions for the growth of mushroom mycelium.
Organic and inorganic materials such as wheat straw, chicken manure,
gypsum, which are the raw materials of compost, are mixed homogeneously at the
appropriate compost moisture level with the compost machines of the Phase I
process (fermentation). The prepared compost is ventilated by transferring
between the bunkers.
Our bunkers, designed with a special
ventilation system for maximum humidity and oxygen level, guarantee you
homogeneous and efficient fermentation in the button mushroom compost
fermentation process.
